The Connecticut Expo Center LLC opened its doors in 1998 and quickly established itself as one of the best run, most accessible and most competitively priced exhibition, convention and concert venues in all of New England—if not the nation.

The Connecticut Expo Center was founded by a group of Hartford-area businessmen and remains privately run. Unlike publicly owned and operated exhibition facilities, the Connecticut Expo Center doesn’t have rigid, cost-increasing rules: Our goal as businessmen is to provide show organizers with the best venue, at the best price, with a highly flexible, customer-service focused staff.

With such factors working in our favor, it should come as no surprise that the Connecticut Expo Center is one of the preferred venues in all the Northeast. We have more than doubled our bookings since our inception, and our venue currently hosts more than 30 annual events, including the Connecticut Fall and Spring Home Shows and the New England Industrial Woodworking Expo. As you might expect, we have many repeat customers who have hugely successful events here year after year.

The Expo Center is one of New England's largest exhibition facilities, with 88,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space—meaning we can accommodate large consumer and trade shows. Some of New England’s best known car, motorcycle, home, and jewelry shows call the Expo Center home, as do some of the nation’s major trade shows. Plans for future expansion include an extra 50,000 square feet, making the facility even more attractive to event producers by offering 138,000 total square feet.
